Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of AntiqueIQ, the mobile application and related API operated by Eleutheromania (“we”, “us”). By downloading, accessing, or using AntiqueIQ, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. What AntiqueIQ is
AntiqueIQ helps you photograph objects and receive an AI-assisted identification and market-informed value reading, with comparable sales where available. It is a software tool for collectors and curious owners. It is not a licensed appraisal firm, auction house, insurer, or dealer, and it does not provide formal certified appraisals for insurance, probate, tax, or legal proceedings unless we expressly say otherwise in writing.
2. Eligibility
You must be old enough to consent to these Terms in your country (and at least 13 years old, or the higher age required where you live). If you use the App on behalf of someone else, you confirm you have authority to bind them.
3. Accounts and anonymity
AntiqueIQ does not require a traditional username or email login. The App creates an anonymous session tied to the installation / device proofs we describe in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for activity on that session. Do not attempt to bypass quotas, attestation, or payment checks.
4. Your content
You retain rights in photographs and notes you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display that content as needed to provide the service (identification, valuation, collection, sharing features you use). You confirm you have the right to upload what you submit and that it does not violate law or others’ rights.
Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing material. We may refuse, remove, or limit processing of content that appears abusive or unsafe.
5. Nature of results
Identifications, value ranges, confidence, comparable sales, and guidance are estimates based on automated analysis and available market data. They can be wrong, incomplete, or outdated. Condition, authenticity, provenance, local market, and timing all affect real prices. Do not rely on AntiqueIQ alone for buying, selling, insuring, or discarding a piece. For high-value decisions, consult a qualified human expert.
We may refuse to appraise items that are not suitable (for example ordinary modern goods with no collectible market), or when evidence is insufficient.
6. Free use and subscriptions
The App may offer a limited number of free appraisals. Beyond that, features may require a paid subscription (“Collector” or similar) sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Auto-renewing subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel in your store account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription where that store’s rules say so.
Prices are shown in the App as provided by the store and may vary by region. Taxes may apply. Refunds are handled under Apple’s or Google’s policies; we cannot override store refund decisions.
Restoring purchases re-links an existing store entitlement to this installation when the stores and our servers confirm it.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service except as allowed by law.
- Do not use the App to break the law or to misrepresent an object’s identity or value to others.
- Do not share access in a way that circumvents per-device or per-account limits.
- Do not attempt to extract or reuse our providers’ models, prompts, or non-public data feeds.
8. Intellectual property
AntiqueIQ, its design, trademarks, and software are owned by Eleutheromania or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. Comparable-sale links and third-party content remain subject to their owners’ terms.
9. Disclaimers
THE APP AND ALL RESULTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that every object can be identified or valued.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ELEUTHEROMANIA AND ITS SUPPLIERS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR RELIANCE ON ANY RESULT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.
11. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify Eleutheromania against claims arising from your misuse of the App, your content, or your violation of these Terms or of others’ rights, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.
12. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time and cancel a subscription via the store. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, abuse the service, or if we discontinue the product. Provisions that by nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations, and license grants for residual copies) will survive.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice in the App or on this page. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Eleutheromania’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country say otherwise. Courts in that venue have exclusive jurisdiction, except that you may bring consumer claims in your local courts where required by law.
